About MMI Training
MMI Training is based in the Leeds area of Yorkshire and is run by Max Woodhead, a very experienced presenter who combines teaching expertise from a career in Further Education with in-depth technical knowledge gained from over 15 years of working in Information Technology.
He is able to draw on his experience of devising, preparing and delivering high quality training for diverse business needs to clients at all levels of seniority.
Max specialises in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) in which he is qualified as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and, having used these products extensively in his day-to-day work, he is able to identify the benefits that they can bring to any business process. He has particular expertise in application development using Excel and VBA.
Working for a major corporate in recent years, he has had a variety of IT roles covering communications, project management, network administration, database administration and software support, together with responsibility for all aspects of training associated with a number of major IT infrastructure and desktop upgrade programmes.
Max holds a Certificate in Training Delivery Skills (TAP) and has professional membership of the Learning and Performance Institute.
